At the tender age of eight, instead of playing outdoors with fellow kids, Dr. Basant Goel spent his time at his grandfather’s medical shop. He shaped his career as a child there, surrounding himself with the world of medicines and embarking on a remarkable journey.

The visionary Dr. Basant Goel is a social-service entrepreneur and pharmacist. He has opened several avenues to create affordable healthcare solutions and emergency services. He has also dedicated his life to helping marginalised societies with his unwavering willingness to foster a thriving community.

Thanks to his hardworking and passionate endeavours, Dr. Basant Goel graduated from the Royal American University, USA, with a B.Pharma Degree. Later, he also earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Health Sciences from the same university. That’s not all, his zeal for knowledge earned him a Doctorate in Pharmacy from the American East Coast University, United States.

Owing to his numerous achievements and dedications in pharmacy, the pharmacist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist Dr. Basant Goel is recognised as a true visionary. Hailed as the “King of Medicines,” Dr. Basant Goel holds various positions of power, such as:

  1. Chief and proprietor of Goel Medicos
  2. Director of ANT Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd.
  3. Director of Sparshmart Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd.
  4. Elastage Pharmaceuticals Private Limited.

In addition to these responsibilities, Dr. Basant Goel holds the Chairman position at Mission Sarvarth Seva Foundation, Delhi, as well as, the General Secretary at RDCA, North-East Delhi.

Dr. Basant Goel is widely recognised for organising the world’s largest blood donation camp through Mission Sarvarth Sewa Foundation, earning him the title “Blood Man of India”. As a part of the event, Dr. Basant Goel set the record of collecting 2962 units of blood, the maximum number of units collected in 12 hours.

In addition to such welfare drives, Dr. Basant Goel assembled a team of 60 of his staff during the COVID-19 crisis to prepare and distribute meals among essential workers and patients. He also distributed immunity-boosting medications to Corona victims, helping over 11,000 patients recover through Goel Pharmacy’s tireless endeavours.

Outside of social pharmaceutical aids, Dr. Basant Goel has also organised public marriage events for 51 economically marginalised couples. During these events, he distributed food and domestic essentials as part of the Kanyadaan ceremony.

As part of his mission and vision, Dr. Basant Goel is dedicated to uplifting financially disadvantaged communities by providing access to essential medications and healthcare education. As a part of his ongoing social initiative, Dr. Basant Goel is distributing food and water to Delhi-NCR hospitals. He is also organising free health check-ups and eye exams for the needy.

Additionally, Dr. Basant Goel supports educating disadvantaged children to enrich young minds and their goals towards a brighter future. All of these countless public services are crucial in shaping a healthy and thriving communal future for all.
